Awards of the Ecumenical Jury
The Ecumenical Jury at the 40th Kyiv International Film Festival “Molodist”, appointed by the International Interchurch Film Organization INTERFILM and the World Catholic Association for Communication SIGNIS
awards its Prize in the international competition for feature films to
Die Fremde / When We Leave by Feo Aladag, Germany, 2010

Motivation: It’s not only a well written and strongly acted family story about domestic violence, but a powerful and convincing observation on the contemporary cultural conflicts, which lead to tragic events.
The Jury awarded the Prize in the competition for first professional short films to
Der kleine Nazi / A Little Nazi by Petra Luschow, Germany, 2010
for its ironical, but soft point of view to the history and an elegant sense of humour.
and a Commendation to
Ostanniy List / The Last Letter by Yuriy Koval’ov, Ukraine, 2010
for its simple, but very human story, seen through children's eyes.
Members of the Ecumenical Jury: Jos Horemans, Antwerp (Belgium) Prof. Dr. Bojidar Manov, Sofia (Bulgaria) Oksana Sokolyanska, Kyiv (Ukraine)
