INTERFILM in combination with OCIC was already present with an Ecumenical Jury at the film festival “Molodist” in Kiev (Ukraine) in 1999 and 2000. After a pause of five years, INTERFILM and SIGNIS will once again be present at the film festival “Molodist” that will take place from the 22nd to the 30th October this year. The Ecumenical Jury will consist of three members. “Molodist” means “young”. The film festival that Andrei Khalpaktchi is in charge of, puts its emphasis on the new, young film and film makers that try to demolish the barriers between the West and the East. Rev. Jes Nysten from Denmark and Dr Otto Brabec from the Czech Republic will be in the Jury for INTERFILM, a representative for SIGNIS is expected to be from the Ukraine.
